The conference was also attended by Mag. Tanja Bolte (Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy), who presented the current legislative changes in the field of environmental legislation in Slovenia, and Bo\u0161tjan Gomil\u0161ek from Result d.o.o., partner of the Life IP Restart project, who presented the digital material passport, a tool for achieving sustainability and ESG reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-758\" srcset=\"https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/life-restart.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/CSC_0296-1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(author: Forum Media, d.o.o.)<\/em> <em>(avtor: Forum Media, d.o.o.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As EU Member States are obliged to reduce their net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 under the \u201cFit for 55\u201d package, the conference also sought to respond to this challenge by presenting how sustainability is reflected in a company\u2019s entire value chain and why it is important for all companies to do so. Actions to achieve decarbonisation were proposed (with examples of good practices), participants learned how to get the right data to measure and demonstrate environmental impacts, to identify key performance indicators and to use so-called zero-carbon technologies.
