On 21 November 2024, Laško hosted the 15th “Environment and Waste” expert conference, which this year focused on the challenges and solutions on the path to sustainability in Slovenian companies.

On 21 November 2024, key experts, representatives of institutions and companies gathered in Maribor to discuss the challenges of a sustainable and circular economy in Slovenia.

This year, the LIFE IP RESTART project partner Institute for Hydraulic Research (Hidroinštitut) conducted a hydraulic modelling study to analyse the sediment transport and deposition dynamics for the existing and projected state of the HPP Formin reservoir, using a hybrid hydraulic model.

The event will take place on Thursday, 21 November 2024, from 9:00 to 14:00, at the City Hotel Maribor. It is organised by the public utility company Javno podjetje Nigrad, d. o. o. Mineral raw materials and the circular economy: The expert consultation, including a round table discussion, which was held on 27 May 2024 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, focused on mineral raw materials and achieving self-sufficiency with natural resources based on the principles of the circular economy.
