Reducing illegally dumped waste is one of the priorities in the transition to greater circularity, as it will increase the motivation of stakeholders to adopt more sustainable practices.
The purpose of the action is to prevent illegal dumping and littering in the environment by establishing an effective monitoring system for high-risk locations and by raising awareness among stakeholders in the local community.
Objectives: development of a pilot methodology for identifying and smart monitoring of high-risk locations; changing the behavioral patterns of various stakeholders in the City Municipality of Maribor.
