The action will analyse the current state of digitalisation in waste management services in Slovenia, assess the integration capacity of existing digital services related to waste management, and review both licensed and open-source waste management software. It will focus on the development of the digitalisation strategy for waste management and waste prevention activities.
The analysis of the current situation includes an overview of the current digital landscape, with an assessment of the compatibility and interconnectivity of systems. Such analysis is crucial for the proper design of the digitalisation process for the Waste Management and Prevention Programme (WMPP) within the LIFE IP RESTART project, ensuring seamless integration with existing waste management digital systems. Based on the analysis, a detailed overview of each system will be developed, focusing on the types of data it stores, its capacity for information exchange, and providing recommendations for necessary improvements.
Objective: To provide a detailed overview of the current state of digitalisation and explore the possibilities for integration with the digital platform of the LIFE IP RESTART project. This will include integration with the three current government digital platforms related to waste management: eMOP, ePROSTOR and IS-Odpadki. The analysis will also identify existing waste-related software and libraries that can be used within the LIFE IP RESTART project. In addition, a digitalisation strategy for waste management and waste prevention activities will be developed.
