On 4 and 5 April 2025, a major city-wide clean-up campaign took place in Maribor. In addition to employees of the Maribor Public Holding, many employees of the public company Nigrad, a partner in the LIFE IP Restart project, also took part. The clean-up was carried out on both banks of the Drava River, and according to interim data, as much as 2,680 kilograms of mixed municipal waste were collected.
As part of the clean-up campaign, various activities were carried out, such as waste collection, sweeping and cleaning of public areas, and painting of public infrastructure. In line with the participation of the public company Nigrad in the LIFE IP Restart project, which focuses on the state of waste management in Slovenia, participants from Nigrad also appropriately documented the event.
