A5 - Assessment of Educational and Social Baseline for Circular Economy

The transition towards eco-innovation and a circular economy where waste is used as a secondary raw material requires overcoming a number of barriers, one of the most critical being the low level of awareness and skills of actors across the value chains.

This action focuses on the needs of economic operators and includes the application of Best Available Technologies (BAT) derived from research and innovation, taking into account legislation on construction products, waste, chemicals and other relevant regulations.

Objective: To design a comprehensive training programme tailored to the needs and existing expertise of the target groups involved in the LIFE IP RESTART project. The programme will primarily focus on industry professionals and experts, providing themed workshops and practical demonstrations. In addition, it will extend its reach by making materials available to all, including students of technical sciences at all academic levels, as well as to teachers, in-company trainers and participants in upper secondary vocational programmes.
